How is he so good?

I have this evil mastermind classmate and I don't get how he's so good at scheming plans for his enemy, a certain class officer in our class who takes advantage of power, last year he started some sort of rebellion against him and answered back whatever he said with "SHUT UP (NAME)!" and lots of other things like launching campaigns for his impeachment and uploading videos on Youtube and even convincing his friends to go against that guy! How is this guy so clever at the same time so charismatic?, I admit that I am also an evil schemer but my schemes compared to his are trash, I only have around 5 people who I can get to do stuff for me but in his case he can convince anyone in the class to work with him and them not really know what they are doing for him already! This year that certain class officer is now afraid of this evil mastermind and now he offered him a truce and is acting like a friend to them while that poor bossy idiot thinks it's real friendship...

I don't get it how?...

He can also get people to tell him their secrets without even them knowing about it and in response to the first answer he an not only manipulate people but also their reputation.

Right now, this "evil mastermind" is a big fish in a small pond. Once he gets into the real world and on his own he won't be able to control people so easily . I think he's in for a really big wake up call when he gets out of school. This isn't a person I'd aspire to be like. He has a rude awakening coming once he steps into the real world!
