so is in my horoscope that for a career hollywood is calling my name. i agree, and so do other people. but i have never acted a day in my life. and i really don't want to take acting classes.
what would my first steps be?

Sorry, but your question is disrespectful to every real actor out there working hard toward their goal. If you every really want to become an actor, then ask a serious question. Actor's go to class and train. Period.

First thing: horoscopes are so stupid. Don't ever listen to them, they're just made up by a bunch of fat people who don't have a good job........what do you really like/want to do for a career? I'm an actress and let me tell you: It's really hard work! So if your not willing to put time into taking acting classes, then your not cut out for it at all.Question: Why do you and other people think Hollywood is calling your name if you've never acted a day in your life? You won't make it big if you don't have an agent....and you can't get an agent if you don't have experience. Either go to community theatre and find out if you have any acting talents/take acting classes; or find a new dream.

Well first step is always to take an acting class. If you don't want to, it's kind of obvious that you /don't/ have any real interest in acting. Some people with no talent are lucky enough to become famous, but deciding to jump into something you know nothing about because your horoscope said so is not a very wise decision. If you're serious, act like it, and get yourself acting classes; if not, leave it alone.

Hon, since you don't want to take acting classes, there aren't any FIRST STEPS for you.
Agents will not be itnerested unless you have studied acting. It's an important part of the process.
Talent Agents and Casting Directors want to see where you studied. It's very important to them. I guess you don't want to be in the industry.
Acting classes are very important.
There are Talent Agents that will NOT represent actors that have not studied acting in a formal setting, i.e., college or university.

You've never acted, you don't want to take classes, but you want a career in Hollywood.
Your first steps would be to adjust your attitude. You don't get something for nothing. Why would anyone want to hire someone with no skills or experience?

Don't bother taking any steps. Forget it. The fact that so many people have the same type of attitude as you is why they sell so many lottery tickets. You want the fame and money but you don't want to work. I want to be in shape but I don't want to work out. I want to play baseball but I don't want to take batting practice. I want to be a doctor but I don't want to go to college. You want to be an actor but you don't want to learn how to act. How do you expect to succeed at the hardest thing in the world to succeed at if you don't know how to do it? Wake up.

oh Lauren...you can be like Paris Hilton and be famous doing nothing...if you don't want to take acting classes and make good use of your talents, go the paris route. even Lindsay Lohan can act even though she is a party like it's 1999 member...

i act me & my friends would like just mess around & we got realy good at acting so just mess around like put on little plays called skits.
