i was wondering if anyone knew where the first pizza was made"invented" and what cities in the US are famous for having the best pizzas?

The first pizza in the US was in NYC - which is the BEST pizza! Chicago claims to make pizza, but where I come from, the cheese goes on TOP of the sauce!

The first pizza was "invented" in Italy where they tend to use oil instead of tomato sauce and lots of seafood.
New York is known for large, floppy (soggy) pizza that almost has to be folded in order to get it to your mouth without losing the toppings.
Chicago is known for deep dish pizza that's more like a pie.

st louis has a style of pizza thats really thin like a cracker almost. the first pizza was made for the queen of italy as legend goes. it was made to look like the italian flag. red tomatoes, white mozzarella, and green basil.
