I have a volunteer grape that is about 3 years now and finally fruiting. I'm just going to let it go and see what happens. I've been told not to expect much in the way of great fruit because it tends to take about 5 years before they are super tasty. We'll see. Good luck

You should cut back the old wood at the start of the year and tie in the new shoots to help them support the grape bunches that will come along. I have 2 ice-wine vines and the fruit is bitter until it has had a frost on it so we don't harvest until late October then it is a free for all between us and the blackbirds!
I give mine a phostrogen feed twice a month and they are very healthy and prolific.

try to protect it from birds and they love the grapes
