I'm going to second the recommendation for A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray and add The Confessions of Georgia Nichols Books by Louise Rennison. Hilarious books about the everyday life of a teenage girl! The first book is called Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging. So funny!

SCIENCE FICTION Everyone ignores sci-fi however in fact that a few books are close to part philosophy. Read Stranger in a Strange Land through Robert A. Heinlein, Prey through Michael Crichton, and 2001: A Space Odyssey or Rendevous With Rama through Arthur C. Clarke. Plus, I agree that Agatha Christie is a need to-learn. After Shakespeare and the Bible, she has offered essentially the most quantity of books global ever. Her pleasant are And Then There Were None, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Murder at the Orient Express
