I do tend to put things off until the last minute. Part of the reason is that I can't do them early, such as paying bills. It usually comes down to the due date before I can pay them because I am on disability so money is very tight. As far as other chores, I have to do as much as I can on my good days, because I feel bad so much of the time. What motivates me is that I always feel so much better, more relaxed, and more comfortable when things are cleaned up, paid and everything is taken care of.

Procrastination was the reason why often I put things off. At the last minute with all the rushing around and frantically trying to find things, I got so upset and angry with myself...that it left me breathless.
Other times, when I took care of the project/task right away with the deadline coming and passing without turmoil, I felt great. I liked that feeling much better. Therefore, trying to motivate myself to get things done right away, became easier. Hurrah!

If I do not find any obstacles I can get things done straightaway. If there are obstacles, it makes me delayed and lost and it take some time to think unconciously how to get over it and later at the last moment get it done somehow.

I always do things as they need to be done, so they don't pile up. That way I have one day a week to spend with my husband who has different days off than I do.

no, I do things immediately, especially things I don't like to do
Afterwords, I can think "if not I was still doing this or that now..." it feels good when it's done
