Have you ever heard the expression "it's not you, it's me"? Honey, he IS breaking up with you. He's just trying to be diplomatic about it. He's just not as into you as you are into him.
I'm really sorry. We've all been there.

Marriage to splitting up am I missing somthing here. How did you two get together in the first place. Most people would want to split up to sort out things this is normal Notttttttttt!. Maybe its the old saying why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. Sounds to me like he realized that there is something better out there.

I know this girl who broke up w/ her boyfriend for 2 weeks to make sure he was the one she was supposed to spend the rest of her life with. They did get back together 2 weeks later, and, it turned out that she did indeed marry him, I believe it was the following year. This may not work for you two, but, try to be patient and see what happens.

It's not in his mind that's want settling. The paths you have are going in a different direction. No sense in holding on you can't have a relationship by yourself. Let it go maybe he may change his mind or you change your.

Let me ask you a question: Why would you want this guy back? You deserve better than some vague "our paths are different" bs...you deserve to be loved and cherished. If this guy isn't going to committ to you don't wait for him.
The right guy is probably just waiting for you.........

Well...this story is complicated. If he suddenly wants to break up then maybe he was with another girl all the time. You should ask him again why he wants to break up.if he still wants to break up you should really break up with him. There are lots of boys in the whole world. He isn't the single one.You should know that.

Why would you want to be with someone when they don't want to be with you?
What he said to you was just an excuse to get out of the relationship. When two people are in love and committed to one another, nothing in the world will pull them apart.

So let me get this straight...........dude wants to break up, have you wait around on him so he can go "settle" things up? ...........that sound ridiculus to me! I would tell him he will make a descion NOW............either he wants to be with you or not end of story. There is no breaking up so he can go do what ever the hell he wants to do.
