There are a couple of potential problems. You have an adverb (lately) that is separated from the predicate it modifies by a prepositional phrase, which is bad grammar according to some.
Another possible grammatical error is the use of passive voice, but I don't see a way to get around this without saying what it was that jeopardized food production.
And to everybody saying it's spelled "jeopardized" and not "jeopardised" you are wrong. "Jeopardised" is the British spelling (and I believe several other countries around the world use it as well) and is not a mistake, but a linguistic difference between American English and British English.

I would say "In several countries, food production has been jeopardized lately.
Or move your prepositional phrase to the end of the sentence.
"Food production has been jeopardized in several countries lately.
I have to agree that the misspelling sure doesn't help matters.

I thought that I might have been alone in doing such. I pay attention to grammar, punctuations, etc. Hey, I had English as my second major ! And, I really do wish that Y!A! would update their spell check, which I have suggested. I have experienced a " misspell" when the spelling was correct and/or, the word is not even in their system.

Jeopardized is misspelled and the sentence is in a passive voice which is a weak form.

I might word it differently, but I don't see a grammar error in there at all.
