I purchased a skirt and top that had signs over them saying 40 percent for the shirt ,and another over the skirt that said 50 per cent off, it said orange tag items only, which both had. When i got home and looked at my sales slip neither had recived any discount at all..I was unable to go back..I pulled the tags off thinking that maybe they had already taken tjhe per centage off,,,but I paid 21.99 for the skirt and the tag under wih originall price said 24.99 the top cost me 10.98 and the original price wa 11.99. This has happened to me before at another of their stores and when I protestd they claimed the clothing had been placed in wrong rack by a customer...isnt this too much of a coincidence,,same thing happeneing? I really feel like I have been ripped off..twice
.I tried to find a phone number or address of their main office but cant find it...I am seriously considering calling Better Business Bureau.

I've not had any luck getting the Better Business Bureau to do what they're supposed to do in past situations, so I'd advise not going that route. Given that you've had similar encounters with more than one location of the same store, it might be worth your time to look up the number of your state Attorney General's office, or the Attorney General's office of the state the store locations are in if not the same as where you are now, and refer your problem to them. I'd also recommend shopping somewhere else as well.

It's poor store management to blame the customers for their staff being too lazy to zone the department and relocate misplaced items to their proper racks. That's what the people with nametags are paid to do after all, make sure everything is in the right place. Some stores have a price policy in place where they honor the price the customer saw posted, even if it's not the correct price. Aguing with the customer, or refusing to correct a mischarge isn't good for business, it drives customers away.

A lot of times people do put items back on wrong racks. They are just too lazy to put it where they found them.
Unfortunately, you should have caught it when you were checking out.
Next time, when you check out and you don't see the discount applied when it has the discount tag, ask to speak with a manager.
But, like I said before, a lot of times people are just too lazy to return items to the original place.
Ask, before you buy. Then you will know for sure.
