I've not kept track of the last 3 seasons but i used be a BIG fan of the show. I remembered pretty much everything about the show because it was on everyday at six. But the last few seasons don't seem to be that good. Barts gone soft and homer is not as offensive anymore. Anyone else agree?
I hope they don't carry on like this in the movie.

Oh Ya!! My favorite show that I used to watch twice a day in the afternoon on Fox, is now the show I dont even bother with anymore. It is LAME! Give me Family Guy anytime over this current version of the Simpsons. The change that happened with the writers 3-4 years back really ruined the best cartoon show ever! I will watch the good "oldies" but any of these new shows, I dont waste my time!

I agree. But I think the show lost it's touch a long time ago, probably everything from season 10 and on. I watched the show religiously while growing up (seasons 1 - 8) but it started going downhill steadily afterwards. The show certainly still has it's moments, but for the last 9 years it hasn't been what it once was. Seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the best! I hope the writers step up and do the movie justice.

I think The Simpsons has been crap for a long time now. They should have stopped it ages ago. It used to be funny, but now it's just overkill. I won't bother seeing the film.
