all i was saying was that being nice can increase how important you are, yet it seems to have offended??????
i wasnt saying just be nice in order to become important, but that it goes hand in hand as alot of answerers have agreed!

I answered the question, and I wasn't at all offended. Although I don't believe that you should be nice simply for self gain.
Sorry if I offended you. I certainly didn't mean to.
I just went back and read all of the answers you got for that question and I did not find even one person who seemed offended by your question,
Maybe they deleted it but I didn't see anything to be offended by.

I'm not sure why that comment would have offended someone and maybe it could be an indication of their character or lack thereof. I mean, after all, being nice does not really cost you anything and it can make it so that others are more willing to interact with you.

Some people are sensitive but wow that's a little to sensitive. I mean you didn't offend me and it seems like you didn't offend any others answering your question either so just drop it and say oh well.

haha, maybe they know they're not a nice person, and you made them feel non-important. I agree though. You catch more bees with honey than vinegar!

I misunderstood, my bad. Just FYI, you realize you can add comments to your previous question, right? And I was not calling you a bozo (does anyone even use the word anymore?), I was referring to the clown who used to ask the same question.

Sorry I didn't see your first question but it makes sense. It is like the old saying goes, you attract more bees with honey.

Well, whoever you have offended, can't have respect or manners or knows how to treat people! You didn't offend me. I was always taught: "If you can't say anything nice to someone, then don't say anything at all!"
