Probably the time that stands out most in my mind is when my now wife and I were living together. She had been injured and was in the process of trying to get disability. She was in a very dark place and extremely depressed. We had to leave our home at the beach and decide where to go from there. Her father had just passed away and her Mom was living alone. I had to decide whether to leave her and start over on my own or to move into her Mom's house with her for a while until we got back on our feet and I found a good job there. It was a very tough decision. She was older than me and in bad health and as I said very depressed. I made the best decision I ever made. I stuck with her, moved into her mom's for 6 weeks until we got our own place. It was a very difficult time for all of us. We are now married, she has come out of her depression and we've been happily married for 3 years. That was one of the hardest but best decisions I've ever made. I can't imagine my life without her in it!
