By an end to all life as we know it. Only then will there be peace. Life is about struggle. Life is about conflict. From the Monarch Butterfly, who'se struggle to escape from the cacoon is what gives it's wings the strength to fly, to the Sarengeti, where eat or be eaten is the order of the day, life doesn't exist without struggle. The only difference, is that we as a species have developed the ability to destroy each other on a much larger scale due to technological advances.

If you want the technology of how to do it, read Malcom Gladwell, "The Tipping Point." Even more interesting and the most important is Eckhart Tolle, "A New Earth." The new consciousness makes handling lifes problems easy, while a peaceful earth is easier to run in the bargain. We finally have the answers we need to make sense of it all.

If world peace can be accomplished it will be a new invention. Needs an Einstein to invent it.
Afterward, needs another of the same ilk to invent methods for dealing with whatever unforseen consequences result.
Until human beings learn to control their reproduction/population explosion traits, world peace will probably be trading cancer for a heart attack.

By the cooperation of all nations. By eliminating borders between countries, by abolishing all weapons of mass destruction! By educating people that don't believe in peace!
