From what? Lack of saving? So what. In winter, I don't shave at all. In summer, I do it when I feel like taking the time (and still have no qualms with wearing shorts or shorter sleeved shirts). Now, even though I "only" wash my hair two or three times a week, I would get a little uncomfortable without soap and shampoo, especially since I do wash my face daily.

Besides, I would be much more concerned with basic survival (food, clothing shelter), than shallow grooming habits like shaving. Although, basic cleaning (washing hair and body) would go under basic survival, I think.

It all depends on what I have with me at the time.If am with things like soap, comb, etc looking like a hairy gorilla is out of the question! but if i do not have the stuff like soap, comb and clothes to change, better still i will wash the clothes on me and let them dry because an island is surrounded by water all through, and I would invent something like a comb to straighten my hair, and definately i would survive.
Looking for fruits would not be a problem thus i would be quite healthy.
Perhaps the cold and the fear of wild animals would shake me up a bit.
