Lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address:
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter.
They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier.
Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans.
So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel.
There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife.
However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral.
He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack.
The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends.
After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.
The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor,
and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My loving wife
Subject: I've arrived Date: May 9th, 2005
I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here
now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones.
I've just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then.
Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
P.S. sure is freaking hot down here!!!!!

LMSIAOSFHISMS Very good joke, to answer your question yes. The most recent was a selection of VERY dirty jokes to my brother and instead of just replying to him I sent to everybody in his e-mailing list. The first recipients on his list are the Chief executive of the Health board for London and the second was the Bishop of a City in Ireland which I cant name. Needless to say it didn't go down too well with all of them, I did get a few replies and none were nasty just pointing out my error and suggesting I pay closer attention.
Laugh I almost died in a fit of it.

Lol that's a good one...I can't remember if that's happened but I have sent e-mails with the subjects accidentally mixed up...which can pose a problem when the receiver is expecting to read about something and reads about something veeery different...lol.

Oh my goodness, how embarrassing. Yes, I've sent e-mails to the wrong person before. I've also even sent a personal message to a person to a group by accident too. Thankfully the group owner understood but it sure was embarrassing.

LOL! I hears this joke, slightly relevant:
A flowershop manager was asked to send congratulatory flowers to a new business location on Wednesday. After a while, he received another note that he's asked to deliver flowers to a funeral the same day. That Wednesday, the businessman complained to the manager that he received dark flowers with a note saying "We bid you goodbye. Rest in Peace". The stunned manager called back and said
"Well, just imagine that a funeral about 50 miles from here just received a note that says 'Good luck on your new location!'."

got this forward some time back and it taught me a great deal lol...am always keen when sending out emails...i once heard a bad exp sent a whole director an email which was ofcourse very casual meant for a very ordinary person in the co. lol its great though cuz he understood and did not make a big deal out of it..

lol.. good one.. i think i had missed this one..
i havent sent an email - but plenty sms' - but the all time classic was some dude from work who sent out a porn email to everyone in the company by mistake... sh*t - that was MAJOR embarrassing.. imagine, from the CEO to the cleaning staff... hehehe

hahhaaa - brilliant - thats sooooo funny
after i got married by best bud emailed me by pressing 'reply to all' by mistake, on an email i had sent round to all my guests, including work collegues, dishing the latest dirt on the one of the guests girlfriends and her affair with one of the other married guests - shocked - i fell about laughing - thats all i could do... she didnt do it intentionally and never lived it down..
