Is it love or lust? Or am I just giving his crazy drunk A$$ to much credit? The bad part was I wasn't even home!

It must be love. I would be very flattered if a guy did that for me. 12 miles most wouldn't do it if their lives depended on it.

A little of both I think (love & lust). Does he really "know" he ain't gettin' any? Or is there a faint glimmer of hope that he might get lucky if he just keeps trying and shows he has a good heart? If the drinking bothers you tell him. If he wants to see you, tell him to call you first, rather than walking 12 miles for nothing. Good luck, and remember you can't change people, they can only change themselves if they really want to change.

..good for you that you were not home! you said he is drunk, so how could you trust somebody if he sees you while he is drunk? why get drunk before seeing you? my, he's just after you for physical satisfaction. if it is LOVE, no man in his right mind will walk 12 miles while drinking! it only means he's an alcoholic which you probably wouldnt want for a partner in life! be smart gir! wise up! let your mind rule over your heart!..

It's being drunk and not having a lick of sense.
You're giving him too much credit. He was drunk and something made him focus on you. He'd have swum the Channel if he were drunk enough...even if he had to fly to get there.

In his drunken state he probably thought that he had a legitimate chance with you.. Even if ya said no.. Alcohol,, it will make you EVEN walk 12 miles for some sex, you ain't gonna get... LOL!!!!
