Believe it or not it has helped me become more outspoken in real life.
I used to have a hard time sharing my opinions and thoughts with others, but I do it here hundreds of times on a daily basis that it has become easier for me. Also, many people here seem to appreciate my silly humor, and it makes me feel good.

Yes. I was bitter and angry when I first started. The website that I loved so much was closed despite the hundreds of signatures collected for the petition against the website's owner's plan to shut it down.
I came across Y! answers and it reminds me of one of that site's features that I miss so much. I actually thought that Y! Answers is only for serious questions and things like that but then I realised that you can also seek advice and ask for opinions on stuff.
I was suicidal and had no passion to do anything after one of my ONLY online friends decided to stop writing me, above some other things. I was really, really down and depressed and then this site came along. I felt I belong in one way or another. I enjoy answering and getting answers to my questions. And then one thing leads to another, and I just forget about everything else (my probs).
Now I have just recently received this Top Contributor badge and it really made my day. ^_^ Thank you Yahoo!!
