I'm making a reversible skirt and am currently unable to find a reversible dress zipper; I can only find really chunky ones meant for sleeping bags!

Does anyone have any alternative ideas about discreet double-sided type fastenings?

I was thinking of an invisible zipper, I don't mind the pull being on the wrong side, but I wasn't sure if it would work!

This is the top side of the skirt (made my own pattern); it's a very high-waisted pencil skirt with an inverted box pleat in the back seam, made in brown wool.
The reverse side is the exact same bodice pattern, but the lower skirt is more a-line shaped and is made of a very light silk georgette.

Can you post a pic of the pattern?

Could you change it to use buttons??

The only other option I can think of is ties or using an invisible zipper -- sew it in between the two layers of fabric -- but when you wear it the one way the pull will be on the inside.........
