Adding more content won't hurt if you want to apply with Adsense now. But I've seen blogs with fewer posts accepted so you can also try to apply now with the Adsense program.

I think you're on the right track with the type of topics that you write about. Finance, home-based business, internet marketing, are among those with consistently good payouts in terms of earnings per click (I should know because those are the same topics of my website and blog).

Aside from adding more content your concern should be to get as much traffic to your blog as possible. The problem with blogs and Adsense is that blog readers typically come to blogs to READ, not really to be enticed to click on the ads.
To earn anything substantial from Adsense you must generate HUGE traffic; otherwise, you'll earn little with the program because of blogs' typical low click through rates.

Many publishers get frustrated that they have high hopes with Adsense when they started with their website or blog thinking that they can earn huge amounts. But the reality is that NOT ALL SITES WORK WELL WITH ADSENSE. You must have the right type of site to earn money from Adsense. You cannot just create a blog, slap the Adsense code, and expect to get rich from it.

So what works with Adsense? First, choose a blog topic that attracts people looking for ways to spend money (example is a blog that reviews various cameras and photographic equipment); or blogs that attract audiences that advertisers find very desirable such as high income people or tech savvy folks.

Nonetheless, to improve the performance of Adsense on your site, Google Adsense Help has good tips on where to put the ads on a blog (their blog heat map). Their tips are as follows: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43869

1. Blend the ads on your blog
2. Experiment with multiple ad formats and locations
3. Offer readers more options with search and referrals
4. Improve site targeting

Well you could submit that to Google but I think it is too early. Even if they approve it, you will not make one cent out of it.
Your blog is not indexed nor do you have any incoming links at all so you will not see any traffic and consequently no Adsense clicks.
You need to develop it further and promote it.
Even though it is a blog you can do something with your meta tags and keyword content.

Now make sure you set up your RSS feed to ping all available sites so that when you post new content it will be distributed and seen by others.
