...just in case I get the urge to jog on the beach or play volleyball when I'm on holiday I want to know which style or brand is nearly as good as a sports bra :)

Competitive swimsuits have bikini tops with ample support. Also, suits made for multi-sport athletes are made for swimming, biking and running in so they are good as well.
Some of the best brands I've worn:

You can find some of these brands at your local sporting good or department store as well.

I'm a guy, so this is just an observation, I've seen some girls who are pretty active actually wear a double layer, like a sports-type bikini top under a one piece swimsuit, for more vigorous activity. I guess it depends on your build also doesnt it, so if youre a llight build, just a tighter version of a normal top would support more, whereas if you are quite curvy and generously endowed you would need something design specific? Perhaps tell us how you get on with thsiquestion complete with photos. :o)

You can get sporty types at the sports stores, such as Rebel Sport, Footlocker, etc
