Try Love Actually... its a bit different from the usual love story, but thats what makes it so good. There are several love stories that are all connected to each other somehow... its probably my favorite love movie ever.

Sweet Home Alabama
The Perfect Man
How to Deal
I especially recommend Sweet Home Alabama, the storyline is similar to that of The Notebook. Its about a girl who leaves her 'white trash' background and reinvents herself as a New York socialite. Her boyfriend (the mayor's son) proposes to her and she accepts, but first she needs to return to Alabama to finalize her divorce as she is already secretly married to her childhood sweetheart...
