Those were my carefree, happy years until I turned 18. I was in College and all the males of my class volunteered for service in WW2. Three years of carnage, changed me completely. Now in the twilight of my years, I look back to those carefree days as a voyeur trying to find that young man
who no longer exists.

to be honest, my teen years were probably the most depressing years of life. i started a lot of my self destructive tendencies in high school. with that said, i miss the feeling that i had all the time in the world to find out what i wanted to do with my life. now, i graduated college and i don't have that same feeling.

I miss high school sometimes, but then i think about the homework and detentions and then I'm happy that I'm in my twenties now. I also miss birthdays at that age, as time goes by they seem to be not as important.
