why does my ex complain how i change diaphers?

Question

i have twins, i feed them change them, hold them,
but because i dont take as long to change them she thinks i dont do a good enough job. they are always clean and smell good and if they get a rash then i try to do what i can to make it go away

bieng a single mom i gotta give u many kudos AT LEAST YOU DO THINGS WITH UR KIDS my kids dad wouildnt even watch them for 5 mins while i went to the grocery store ( i'd have to load em up in the car and take them with me even in the dead of winter and i was only gone 5 to 10 minutes)
but perhaps her problem is SHE thinks no one can do it like her or any better
as long as you use wipes and they're clean, and the diaper is put on correctly - how long it takes or doesnt take shouldn't make a differnce
tell her to take a chill pill you're doing a good job - if she doesnt like it she can do it her self - maybe then she'll change her mind when she has to drop everything she's doing to change a poopy diaper or 2
I've never had twins or been around twins - so i dunno if they do everything the same or not ;)
but from the sounds of it ur doing a great job -don't let her bother you Just keep up the good work :-)

Your ex is probably still in a lot of pain over the break up - If your kid is still in diapers it couldn't have been that long since the split...

In her mind, you not taking the time to change the baby (the way she wants) is going to lead to the same failure that happened in your relationship, therefore she may not know it but she is really afraid of you and your child's relationship failing as well. She may not even realize that this is why she is upset about it.

Because you're doing it differently than she does it. It's hard for her to give up control of the babies when you have them, and so she's finding fault with probably most anything you do.

Different is not necessarily wrong, and I'm sure she'll loosen up as they grow. As you well know, it's difficult to bring up twins by yourself. Presently, I don't think there's much you can do to change her attitude though, so I'd just bear with it as best you can. It will pass.

She cares a lot for the twins and wants the best. She thinks the diapers aren't perfect probably cause you don't spend time on them. Ask her sometime why she does.

Switch to reusable cloth diapers and tell her that it is good for the environment and will stop global warming. If she tells you that you're stupid, then you can accuse her of being a bad mother.

I don't know...maybe SHE wants to do it...lol...(normally guys are slower than girls,,,,,how I know bcuz when I was little I went to my friends house and my friends dad would change her baby sisters diapers when her momma was gone and he made wierd faces and was all (eww gross)
