Pure Copper or a Copper Alloy?

Why and any references? thank you. =)

There might be an alloy with higher conductivity, or there might be a temperature at which an alloy has higher conductivity. A quick look at the reference doesn't show one. Silver does have a slightly higher conductivity than copper, so perhaps a copper-silver alloy.
