Birth control for periods (Seasonale)?

Question

So I take Seasonale for the benefit of only having 4 periods a year, not for pregnancy prevention because I don't have sex.
I took the sugar pills last week and had a period and this week I didn't start a new pack because it took a few days for the prescription to be authorized and filled.
My question is, would it hurt to wait another week before starting the new pack since I had my period a week ago?

It is probably ok to do but I would recommend checking with your dr also to see what they say.
