I think if we all did some thorough research into our own genealogies, we would discover we are all mutts to some degree. I am classified as white, but my roots consist of:
English, Irish, Austrian, Cherokee Indian, all rolled up to be an American. This is just what I personally am aware of. Who knows what else there could be in my family tree?

I call myself a poi dog - my ancestors are from too many countries to even attempt to enumerate. Granted I'm mostly White (English, Scottish, and Swedish), but I have traces of Native American and Jewish blood. All my nieces and nephews have that plus at least one distinct race.

I am not really mixed race (although my great-grandfather on my mom's side was a Spaniard), but I am mixed with a lot of different ethnicities.

Dominican, African-American, Haitian, Spaniard, Jamaican, French, and Ivorian.

I guess I am. I prefer calling myself mixed black instead of a "mutt". I'm mixed with white( British, Scottish, German, and Dutch), Hebrew, Indian, and of course black. I'm of Jamaican descent. I think there's more, but I'm not sure.

We are all "muts" sweetie!..the only place you will find clean blood is in old tribes across the continents. If you were born in the USA you can even be more certain of the fact that we are all of many differant races and creeds!
