Well... both have it's pros and cons.
With sun tan you of course get the best looking tan and it doesn't look fake until you pretty much bake yourself and then you'll look and feel crispy. But you can and will probably burn which is painful and you'll peel (and that definitely doesn't look cute).
With self tanner.... You have the chance of looking orange, but if you use the new Aveeno adjustable self tanning lotion you should be fine. Just make sure that you use it evenly all over your body and you wash your hands right after. AND! you won't get cancer.... well.... at least, from using tanning lotion....

Sun tan its better because i think it says better then self tanner

I'm actually pretty tan. There are about 6 people in out neightborhood that are outside all the time. I am one of them and in the summer, I am outside for about 6 hours a day or more. So the sun does make me tan, but I really don't care about my skin in that way. I love the outdoors! We play so many fun games like baseball, cops and robbers, and this one game we made up. And I like to ride my bike around all the time.

the results of a sun tan is better but make sure you use sun block to protect yourself from harmfull rays.
