Yes, but why? XP Pro only offers Dual Socket CPU support and some slightly more advanced networking options.

Everything less than xp prof edition dosent gets support from MS anymore.
proff also be out in next 5 years, that's big VISTA plan from Gates.LOL

Yes, as long as you have the original software for XP Pro. A burned copy can ccause problems (though unlikely).
