IF you were a NUT, what KIND of nut would YOU be and WHY?

The nature of ones nut tendency is very philosophical - don't you know ....

If I were a NUT
Which I think a lot of times I am anyway,
I would choose to be a pistachio.
I would be the most liberated nut of all.
because my inner self, the nut, would not be confined in a

hard shell so I would not feel restricted at all.
I would always have a narrow window open to the world from

which I would be able to peak outside and smile to everyone
No need to crack me open as a pistachio is already cracked
(It is probably the only nut in the world with a smile :-) )
and all one needs to do is pull the shell open.
People would be able to peak in and see the true me without

guessing
Something like....
What you see is what you get
Pistachios are the most beautiful of all nuts I think
They have a nice delicate shape unlike any other nut
They also have a beautiful green and red colour, (two of my

favourite colours)
and they absolutely taste delicious
Not to mention they are not quite as abundant as other nuts

so I would be unique and always welcomed by all :-)

A Hazel nut. The reason being is that I was born in St. Joseph's hospital in Toronto right on the lake-shore, the very day hurricane Hazel struck.
Dad was going to register me as 'Hazel' in honour of the hurricane.
The nuns said' NO '!! Back then the nuns ran the hospital with an iron fist. You did not argue with a mighty penguin in those days. Even if you were a protestant nutcase you wouldn't argue with them.

I would be the Nut with the screw loose. Rusty, old nut full of dirt, I'm the one that rattles the foundation of any poorly constructed structure.

I would be a black walnut. Tough to crack. I would also provide the pleasant surprise of a gustatory delight. It has a deep nutty flavor that enhances the flavor of every culinary effort I've used it in. I especially like it in ice cream and every now and then I'll add a few to a pecan pie.

I think I'd like to be a hazelnut.
Not only is the name itself very pretty, but I'd be tasty raw or roasted. Salted or unsalted.
I would go with chocolate, coffee, fruit or in baked goods like brownies and cookies...even on salads!
My flavor would be very distinct and sought after. People would buy jars of hazelnut oil to flavor their recipes because I'm so darned yummy.

Okay then I wonna be a Sweet Chestnut. The flowers of the Sweet Chestnut tree are also used in the Bach Flower Remedies and used for emotional states if somebody experiences deepest hopelessness. My work has to do with helping people in this regard. I love to do this work. So Sweet Chestnut for me........
