What sadness?

Not had too many breakups, but when I did, the mourning was about a week or two, then I was kind of neutral for about a week or two, then I was able to start using the experience as a learning tool coz I was removed enough from it to do so.
One time I thought I was in love with someone and I mourned for about three months when I couldn't see them anymore though. And was angry at myself and life for a while longer than that.... So um, I guess it's good I don't worry about love anymore, eh?

I tend to hold on to pain if I had real feelings. It is a flaw of mine.
It has been a long time since I cared enough to be sad for a long time. Still it takes me longer than most I suspect..

the worst part is short....and the rest of the pain eventually fades.
it depends too on how major the relationship was.

They were usually long and painful because I got so invested, though sometimes it was also a relief.

it depends how much the person meant to me.
longer periods for someone i really felt strongly about and not so long for a person i don't feel too strongly about
