Try making you own website or blog from a one of the free website hosts. Most of them provide templates where you pick how you want the site to look, then you add your content, then you can publish it. I've had a small Tripod.com site for years and I've never had any trouble. And my entries regularly show up in google searches. Or if you want to go old school, post on Usenet through google groups.

Make sure you are using a website or blog that is Google-able. You can test it by finding any other blog or website on that server, and using your mouse to highlight a line of text. Then paste that text into Google and see if the site comes up.
