ruth (below) {hug} "Of course you do know that using the executive power is hardly treason"
The treason I am referring to is the outing of a CIA agent. Not commuting the sentence of the person that obstructed justice.

Fitzgerald is a staunch Republican as well as the Judge that sentenced Libby. What world are you describing?

No, Hillary is not a hypocrite for speaking out.
However if Congress does nothing about this lawless President, the whole Congress deserves to be thrown out of office for aiding and abetting this war criminal of a president.
I certainly plan on paying attention on what my own Senators and Congressman do about this outrage. If no action is taken, you can be sure no vote will be given come election time.

Alright. Bush didn't pardon anyone, and any former President (at least since Carter) would be a hypocrite to speak ill of someone for pardoning a criminal. They all do it. It's not just a republican vs. democrat issue.
Libby was a fall guy for Cheney because the democrats in congress made him the fall guy for Cheney. They wanted to go after Cheney, but didn't have the fortitude, so they went after his former chief of staff.
And yes, Hillary's a hypocrite for saying that, unless, of course, she admonished Bill for pardoning Suzan McDougal, who went to jail rather than testify against the Clintons. I think that would have been on the news.

I think she is wrong for saying anything about it at all, but not because I think she is a hypocrite. She is wrong, because she knows the US Constitution.
ADDED: It's just the language, but you could call her a hypocrite if you chose. Of course you do know that using the executive power is hardly treason.

How?
She never pardoned someone from her administration that had been tried and convicted in a court of law for breaking a law of this nation.
If she had, and then stated that Bush was wrong for what he had done, THAT would make her a hypocrit.

The Clintons have no room to talk when it comes to pardons or the commuting of sentences as they pardoned hundreds of people some of which were family members and also business men with known terrorist ties.
