Fan only comes on for split second when powering on. Fan failure?

This probably not for the faint of heart.
I would check on there chat or go to there web site for support and have one of there techs walk you through the terminal commands to increase your fans operation.
This is a very easy fix if you know how. It also depends on the Operating System. I would get in touch with one of there techs.

You got it! Try to open the shell, and remove all the dust that has gathered in the computer. This alone can cause problems. Otherwise, replace the fan. It is simple enough to do and cheap. You do not NEED to have a profrssional do this. Howevver, if this is a laptop, you may want ti use that servvice (laptops are a apin to open). Not a serious problem, but if you continue to turn on the PC and have it force itself off, it could burn out your hardrive.
