Depending on if it is in a market that does not hinge on the tattoo making or breaking them.
For a corporate office job? I think they still have a shot but probably nothing more than entry level unless they work REALLY hard. Even then I think it depends on the extent of the tattoo. In most cases I would think it depends on how much face to face interaction the individual has with customers is another factor. Telemarketing or call center positions may be more inclined to hire them rather than sales.
If they are more self made and can run their own business then God bless. Especially if its in a music or entertainment related field they have more of a shot (tattoo artist, musician, etc).

Yes I have about six years ago or so. I was actually at lunch they had a m22 bullet found on the cafeteria floor and while I was at lunch a couple of cops walked in. We thought it was nothing sometimes they like checking up on our school. Then as we prepared to start our next class the Super attendant made an announcement that both the Middle and High School were placed on Lock down. We didn't know what was going on and we were really nervous because the Virginia Tech shooting happened not too long before. We ended up leaving the school at like quarter of six while the entire schools were searched. The FBI SWAT police state police you name it they were there. To this day I am very grateful it wasn't anything more serious and that everyone was okay.

Yes, unless you want a job as a tattoo artist or some kind of stage performer like in the Cirque De Soliel. Mainstream jobs though tend to discriminate on that alone. It may not be totally fair, but I feel it's true.

you would really have to ask the person before assuming something like that. A lot of people that have their faces tattooed work in a tattoo parlor, so it's kinda of in the norm for them. And some, like the tiger man or lion man, have extremely good jobs, and make good money for the way they look by 'performing' as the creature they turn themselves into.

How big is the tattoo? Seriously, it does make a difference.
Applications are nameless. If they're charasmatic enough, the tattoo will never prevent them from NOT obtaining a job. Keeping it, on the other hand...

depends on their idea of a real job is. you can have tattoos if you work at a bike shop, but it will be harder to actually get an office job or for a professional to actually take you seriosly. tattoos are nice, but you can also get them in a places where only you see, or on places (like your upper arm) that can be hidden with clothing.

Well, I think it all depends on the person themselves.
Some people that tatoo their faces can be quite serious about business terms.
Then again, people who decide to tattoo their face might not be very serious about jobs to begin with...
But of course, I grew up trying to not judge a book by it's cover.

I personally think so.
If I was an employer, I wouldn't hire someone with a tattoo on their face. I think it's unprofessional.
