Depends on who I am actually talking to, some of my "buddies" (sorry, but I lack a better word right now), are people I know and grew up with, some are people that I have meet IRL, and the rest are those that I have just collected from here and there.

Most of them not that well. Hard to really know someone just chatting once in awhile. Also I don't know the ones on here at all. Except for one, I think I know my best online friend quite well........We met through "answers" and have been in contact for over a year....

This relates to your cybersex question and the answer is similar. You don't know them any better than they allow, and often less. They can say anything, show anything, etc and it could all be lies (e.g. gender, marital status, physical appearance). All you have is trust and fantasy to base on.
