I didn't know that. Labor with my 10 yr old autistic son was induced but I don't know what drug was used. It really makes me wonder now.

I don't understand how that would happen, as it is given right before birth, but since no one knows too much about autism, it is possible. Both my kids were born using pitocin, my daughter is definitely anything by autistic, my son is only 3.5 months old, still too early to tell.

My son has autism, and I wasn't induced. I don't think there is anything 'causing' autism. I think it's generations and generations of learning issues, and mental health problems that are being passed down in different ways.
Autism is also not new, it can be traced back to tales written in the 16th and 17th centuries.

I haven't heard that, but it's something I'll check into for future reference. I had pitocin with both of my labors and my children are a-ok.

No, I didn't know that. My son (thankfully) is not autistic. But I had tons of that stuff running through my veins, because my labor was induced.
