www.canadapost.ca -

Letter up to 30g (approx. 1 ounce): Envelopes, cards and postcards
52 cents inside Canada;
96 cents to the USA
1.60 international

over 30g to 50g - $2.30 international.
If it's oversize or non-standard up to 100g - $3.75

Remember that Canada has the GST (Gouge and Screw Tax) so add 6% to buy the price shown on the stamp.

Most post offices, or postal outlets (sub-post offices) will have the necessary stamps. A lot tend to use the meters to print a stick-on label nowadays, so if you would prefer a pretty picture stamp as a souvenir, be sure to ask for one.

You will need to send it Air Mail, so you should really take the letter to the Post Office.
