They have been in jail in prison for DUIs and drugs(meth and Marijuana and others) for almost all of their lives. Both of them are in jail again and I told her she shouldn't help anymore. She says it makes her feel good. She leaves a bible open and she believes maybe one day they will read it and change. Am I wrong for telling her that she should stop helping them or should I mind my own business? The one in prison hasn't been around for awhile but he will be getting out soon. The one in jail will probably be out in a few days. She says that he doesn't come around that much more but he is welcome to sleep there when he doesn't have any where else so I shouldn't be worried.

that is quite a scary situation. To be that close IF these cousins decide to visit your mom when getting out of jail. It isn't wrong in you trying to protect your mom and yourself. There's only so much a person can do, if the PERSON doesn't want the help.there's nothing anyone can do or say* I understand your mom wants to help and feels she is by praying for them to wake up and change for the better.....and to offer them a place to stay if they need to ....I just hope she isn't making a mistake~* Best Wishes* May the Angels Always Be With You All*~
