I do a lot of work in inner city Detroit towards the 1st of the month in some REALLY bad neighborhoods (when the residents get their checks, and are proud of it). It breaks my heart to go into a gas station and see a small child standing under her mothers legs while her mother 'barters' any way she can to get another fix from a man standing in front of her, then yelling at the child for no apparent reason, frightening the you-know-what out of her....I see it over and over, and it often brings me to tears. There's nothing I can do about it. ♥goodnight♥

When my niece and nephew are being mistreated by the adults in their lives. I just wish I could raise them as my own kids.

People dying and people cying. My uncle died the 4th, and watching his daughters cry and my mother so upset, everyone was heartbroken at the wake and the funeral.
