if you knew you would grow up and get the right career, find the right person, settle down, and have kids, when you reached old age could you make this decision if it was forced upon you? if you had to choose who you die first, you or your beloved spouse, could you make that desicion? would you let them die and have yourself carry the burden of pain and grief or would you put it on them and let yourself go?

um i think that i would nather have us both die at the same time because then we'd both never have to miss one another. i know that if he died first, i couldnt carry on after all that we went through and that alone would be more than i could bare. and if i died first, he wouldnt know what to do either because he coudnt live without me either. i think that pain would kill him aswell.

and i hope i dont have to ever choose X__O

I'll just answer the last question, since I didn't understand the first part. If I had to choose between dying first or having my loved one die, I'd rather die first. Allow him to enjoy the rest of his life, find someone new.
