If you do what do you think you were? A painter, scientist, a beggar, etc. etc. A lady I met briefly told me that I was once a man (I'm a girl btw) living in India in the year 1650 and I was some sort of herbalist she also told me I had once been a Greek painter. Now I don't know if I should believe her, she stopped me as I was walking on the Venice Beach boardwalk.

What you were in a past life doesn't really matter at all in this one. There are enough challenges to meet here and now. What you were or may have been only influences how you think, how you judge things. It is the wisdom you bring with you which is important, not how you gained it.

Evidence seems to point to the fact that reincarnation exists for some people. This is the type of thing that science can neither prove or disprove. There is no way of measuring, with instruments or science, if someone's memory can survive death and be reincarnated. As a result scientists ignore the whole concept of reincarnation.

There are many documented cases of people, especially children, speaking of times past, sometimes in foreign languages, and describing situations about some ordinary person who died a long time ago, and the statements turn out to be true.

Now someone "reading your mind" and coming out with arbitrary statements about Greek painters sound phony. She's trying to convince you that she has paranormal abilities. Sounds like B.S.

Yes, I do. I don't know what I was or any year or anything, but I do know I've had around 3 previous lives, in one of them, I lived in New Orleans, had a little sister, and that my name was Emilie. I also know that my spirit name, the name God gave me before I was ever born into a human body, is Katherine. A gifted friend told me the former, my angels (guides) told me the latter. :) If she stopped you out of nowwhere, then chances are that she was being truthful. That happens. Sometimes you just see someone and you get something about them and feel compelled to the tell them (compelled in the sense that you canNOT not do it, you're pulled by something larger than yourself to do it).

Who knows? I guess you'll find out when you're in transition to your next life! I lean towards belief in reincarnations because some people seem older, more mature, and compassionate than they should be. Some people are just born with certain personalities too, like how some babies are very fussy or some are very calm. I don't think that we can remember who were were in past lives, but I think some of the lessons we've learned carry from one life to the next. While we have to learn how to speak and read each time we're born, we can remember how to be caring and loving.

we are also back in the 1700s or so.

I have also had dreams of being a man in Rome in BC times.
