You're never too old. I'm 19 and I can honestly say that I will watch anime and read manga until the day I die. No joke. So just enjoy and do what you like and pretty much ignored those that don't support you because they probably don't care or don't even try to understand the beauty of the art of anime and manga.
Side note: I work at a library and there's a patron that is like 50 who is always coming in to borrow anime and manga. :)

No, I'm only two months away from being 18 and I still love anime. I need to start watching Bleach sometime, I hear it's really good. I love Death note, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, fruits basket...well a lot of anime even if some people would think it's childish it's their problem.

No, you're no longer too previous zand you are able to in no way be previous for anime. i'm 18 too and that i too watch an incredible form of anime. I used to video exhibit Digimon whilst i became little, if i might watch it now, i could sense the nostalgia many times. i assume it truly is actual looking which you watch it too. :)) nicely, it can not be truly pronounced while you're immature or no longer, yet it truly is not truly actual. each and every person matures at their very own %.. the two way, there are diverse animes that are for youthful adults, they're referred to as seinen and josei Taken from Wikipedia: Seinen manga is a subset of manga it is commonly focused at a 20–30 365 days previous male aim audience, however the objective audience could be older with some manga aimed in the direction of businessmen nicely into their 40s. In jap, the observe Seinen potential "youthful guy" or "youthful adult males" and isn't any longer suggestive of sexual concerns. (the female such as seinen manga is josei manga.)

Keep watching your Anime. Keep watching cartoons. You're never too old to enjoy them. It's one of the things that will keep you young at heart.
I'm 35 and still watch Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros. cartoons. I have a room filled with Flintstones toys and memorabilia.
Don't feel out of place...there's no reason to.

The majority of people at anime conventions are college students, so 18 is definitely not too old.

No! Don't ever feel like that, if you look on numerous fansites of various animes you'll find people who are in the mid 20's to early 30's! Don't even feel out of place just because of age!
Heck, I even see guys who are like dad-age in the manga section of a bookstore.

Nope!!! I'm 20 still totally addicted and proud of it! Remember that most of the artists, writers and producers of anime are in their 20s, 30s and even 40s and up.
