what do you consider yourself to be? an optimist, a realist, or a pessimist? maybe a blend of a couple of them? be as honest as you can!
an optimist - a "glass half-full" kinda person, always trying to take something positive out of every situation
a realist - straighforward...one who tries to keep things in perspective and keeps their feet on the ground. tends to not get as excited.
or a pessimist - worrisome, nervous and uneasy, negative, having a feeling of hopelessness, etc.
i'm interested to hear your thoughts!

Oddly enough, I'm an opestimist. Half optimist, half pessimist (i know, i pick the 2 that are completely opposite!). I try very hard to be optimistic about life! But the way I am is just a pessimist! I can get provoked easily, but I always calm down fairly quickly-trying to see the good out of the situation. I know, I'm weird.

I'm 93% a realist You are a realist like me. You use evidence and decide if life is good or bad. You believe that life can change for the good or bad. You are probably someone who never assumes. and 42% an optimist, 0% pessimist :O I thought I was going to be an optimist, but after having read the text.. I have to agree :)

I am a pessimist but disagree with the definition that you have; nervous and uneasy, having a feeling of hopelessness. I tend to want to make sure things are legitimate before entering an agreement, I foresee the potential for things to go wrong and want people to be aware before jumping ahead of themselves on a project, I try to cover all of my bases when working on a project because when I don't things inevitably do go wrong. This is what I have learned from life and therefore I am a pessimist but I always have hope for things to turn out well.

im a cross between an optimist and a realist. i like to look on the bright side, but not so much so that i dont get bummed out sometimes. im realistic in a way that i always like to now whats really happening and keep a good prospective on that. the way i look at it, if everyone in the world was and optimist we wouldnt ever get anything done or accomplish things that need to be accomplished. know what i mean? =-)

Sometimes a little bit of all three. It really depends on the situation. I try most of the time to be as optimistic as I can, but with some problems (namely money), its hard not to be realistic or pessimistic.. I agree with whomever said "money is the root of all problems" cause it is...

I am an optimist and realist. I try to keep a positive attitude every day, but when it comes down to accepting certain situations in life, I am a realist.

im a realist/pessimist...
im straightforward w/ my emotions and thoughts but sometimes i can be worrisome and negative...
definitely a combo of the two tho...more realist than pessimist...
not a optimist (i know if a situation is bad, im not gonna try and make myself believe it is something it is not...) id only be lying to myself <--- [there's realist for ya!! lol]
im not saying im always a negive person...cause im not but...ya know...i do see the glass half full some times...but then again (refer to pervious paragraph...)

I am all three. I would have to say Realist will run in first, then the optimist, then the pessimist.
