Well, you obviously know how babies are made so being a virgin is not going to help you. However, at age 40, it is very risky to have a child. Birth defects are more common after age 35. You could look into adoption. Be sure to ask your doctor, though. You may be able to do In Vitro or some other artifical way. Good luck.

With modern medical technology and diagnostics, its becoming more common for women over 35 to have children. Most pregnancies in women over 35 will be treated as high risk, so you would want to talk to an OB/GYN with a speciality in high-risk pregnancies. Even being a virgin, you can have in-vitro done, but the question is, would you want to be a single Mom (assuming being a virgin that you are not married). I'd say go for it....this may be your only chance, as the longer you wait, the more likely pregnancy complications might happen.

You have a 1 in 16 chance of having autism child. My super smart bf's mom was 40 when she had him, her first son.

a 40 year old virgin is almost unheard of, and having a baby at that age is not the easyest thing in the world to do. i suggest that you talk with your doctor about it and see what he or she has to say.
