Waterproof because I'm allergic to the extra adhesive and I'd rather apply my own ointment if/when I think it is necessary.

Waterproof. I have all the antibacterial & antibiotic ointments I need, but I hate having to replace the thing every time it gets wet. That drives me nuts. And I usually end up needing them on my hands, and I wash my hands 100 times a day it seems.
