Do shamans in WOW use staves or maces?

which is best or should they use 2h mace with no shield what is the best I think I am going to spec dps.

If you are going DPS I would go Mace, but try to get a shield because you may have to tank.

Staves are usually for pure casters because they arn't good melee weapons, so unless you go Resto. Not really for a shaman.
My shammy has a 1h mace and shield and is DPS specced.

You can always visit the shaman forums for this discussion. Generally for healing you would use 1h + shield for survivability. Dual wield is used recently with TBC launch for avid dual wield dps users imitating a rogue. 2h weapons are another option for dps but is generally considered weak compared to dual wield now.
