The Great Khali/Great Singh

On May 28, 2001, Brian Ong passed away after receiving a flapjack from Singh. Ong had suffered a previous concussion during the session, but the trainers gave him a lower evaluation for not avoiding injuries and told him to continue training. In addition, it was proven that Ong did not receive any protective gear or supervision by APW staff. This second concussion ultimately proved fatal for him. As Singh inadvertently caused his death, Ong's family brought a lawsuit against All Pro Wrestling, who were found liable for recklessness after less than a day of deliberations, awarding the Ong family for damages of over $1.3 million

First of all there is a different between an "stand out IPL hater" and a "genuine fan". Since the very beginning of IPL there were haters even when IPL was a huge draw and free from controversies(at the beginning). Haters do hate no matter what. Even if IPL had no controversies at all, the haters would have come up with conspiracy theories to prove it is scripted or fixed. On the other hand genuine fans are the ones who see the things in righteous manner and imbibe the truth. They don't hate or twist the facts and more importantly they will never take a back to criticize what is wrong even if it's their countryman or their league! At the same time there are IPL marks who turn blind eye to all the things happened in this tournament. If someone come out and say that "There is nothing wrong with IPL. It's a great tournament. It's only the haters and jealous fans make false accusations just because they are jealous of our league.", then I feel sorry for them because the truth is that you CAN"T DENY the fact that there is something wrong with IPL and it should be fixed for the sake of the sport called cricket! If IPL is a domestic league of my country, in other words if SLPL has the same issues IPL currently has, then I'll have NO HESITATION to step up and say "for god's sake SLPL is ruining our cricket! Bookies and money destroying the loyalties. You either fix the issues of cancel the tournament!" because I have the guts to do so to see and judge the right and wrong correctly! I am not one of the people who compare IPL with WWE. And I agree that IPL is more likely cannot be scripted. It's more illogical and impossible to be scripted if you consider all the facts. There is no way a tournament can be scripted without the involvement of the majority of it's participants so I see there is no way the majority of players and umpires involving in a scripted tournament. And even if they do, it would be very tough to keep it as a secret from media or fans. That being said many fans are confused and tempted to believe that something fishy in IPL. AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG ON THAT since IPL has been a part of many controversies. Sreesanth, Sreenivasan, Money,TN protests against SL players, Bookies etc etc... So not a surprise that people lost their faith on IPL including some of the Indian fans. And it's not the FANS fault for fxck's sake. It's the fault of the organizers for not supervising this tournament well, having far too many matches to earn more money and some corrupted officials who make the things worse. * * * * Anyway I disagree with you saying "if IPL is scripted then all the stars should be suspended.". It won't happen in reality. If IPL is scripted and it is proved then IPL will be banned. At least the other cricket boards will ban their players taking part of IPL like the ban in playing SA way back in 1970's. And we will see few players neglect the ban and play there for money like the same thing happened when SA was banned from international cricket. Once again I am saying this. If IPL is proven as scripted and all the participants are a part of it, then the easiest and most logical solution is banning the IPL other than banning all the players which would be the end of cricket. But I agree that it will still harm the reputation of those players and will put a black mark on their image. They will be criticized @MBIOF:- yes I agree that "These Scripted-yorkers & Scripted-shots theories suck." But then again you have to realize that those theories came for a reason. The reason was bcz all the consequences and issues happened in the big money league and the fans started questioning and doubting it including the Indians themselves. At the same time... Theories like =... "oh look all the non Indians are jealous of our rich league. They are jealous of BCCI and India's success. That's why even fans like Dinith have started making IPL look bad" even he is jealous of us" suck deeper because it's not the truth! No genuine fan wants to disgrace IPL or make IPL look bad because it was IPL itself which has disgraced it self. Go figure.
