I a pro-female. Please remember that as you read my reply. Okay? Are we understood.
The plain fact is that men are stronger than women.
That is why they don't have women in the NFL, NBA, or MLB. Think of all the women who would be injured trying to play.
Although I understand your intentions, there isn't a valid point in your defense...other than the Constitution.

Equality in the Constitution refers to rights, not talent or athletic ability. If there weren't different leagues, women probably wouldn't get to play at all. If men joined the LPGA, women would almost never win a tounament. I would take LeBron James in a draft over any woman. As far as the NFL, who would want to see a grown man of at least 250 pounds crush a woman? Why would a woman want that?

They are simply not big, athletic, or strong enough to play in those leagues. Most men aren't either. This is not a sexist answer. It's a matter of physics.
I respect women athletes. Women can do anything that men can do. There just aren't any, that I know of, that could compete in those leagues.
And none of the leagues are discriminating either. Believe me, if there was a women who could hit or pitch better than the male players, George Steinberner would sign her.

Okay men are built differently then women. in a sport like golf women should compete with men but in a sport like basketball where height matters men are naturally taller so it's not fair. Men are also geneticlly faster. It's genes. Yea it sucks but if you were to take the best women basketball player and put her up against the best male basketball player the female would lose everytime.

The elite men are better than the elite women in these sports. It would be extremely doubtful that women could be competitive with men at this level in football, basketball, and baseball. Some women have competed with the men in pro golf (PGA), but with limited success. It's not because of discrimination...it's just that men are generally stronger and more powerful than women.

they are men's leagues. THere are leagues for women. in the NCAA, schools have to offer equivalent sports for men and women or they can play on each other's teams and also have to have equal numbers of male/female athletes. The pros are privately run and there is nothing wrong with them being for all men or women-the leagues are right to free-enterprise.

Because, Women, although TREATED EQUALLY as stated in the constitution, are unable to compete at the level of men in MOST CASES! There are a rare few who can compete, and even at that, they cannot excel.

For the same reason that they aren't in the NHL. Its not discrimination, its because its based on performance NOT gender.
Pro sports is a business and runs on business principles and so if the next Michael Jordan or Babe Ruth were a female they would be hired in a second.

They are equals through civil rights, not physically.
It doesnt say it in the constitution. Besides, women are in no way close to men in physical sports.
