Nope. Nowadays parental consent is needed before it's prescribed.

Sounds like you are referring to the birth control pill. She would need to be seen by a doctor to have a pelvic examination and evaluated for the right dose and prescription. If she is unwilling to do this, then the best thing for both of you is to use condoms - which do not require a prescription and are a deterrent from spreading sexually transmitted disease - something the pill cannot do.

I went to Planned Parenthood when I was 16. They give it there for low payments. You can use a condom or go to Walmart in the area they sell condoms and buy some OTC birth control and if she is not mature enough to get her own birth control she dont need to be having sex.

Only a doctor can give your GF birth control, and why would you want to take a chance getting something that might not work for her. WAKE UP!! You might end up being a daddy for doing the wrong decision! 18+ years of child support!!!!

Do you have a Planned Parenthood in your area? Check the yellow pages or something. Almost all of it is confidential. It's pretty dumb that they won't let her get on it.. they should just face the facts that you guys are having sex and they might as well do what they can so they dont end up GRANDPARENTS! But if that doesn't work, I guess just continue to use condoms.

There are plenty of birth controls you can find at the drug store but they are not 100% effective. For the pills, you can't. The pills are for the prescriptions only. That means your friend must go to see her doctor to get any prescriptions.

She has to be seen by a doctor in order to get birth control. Your other option is condoms.

Nope. Are you sure she really wants to get on BC? Sounds like she not very interested in it, if she was she would go to the clinic. The only BC you can get her is over the counter stuff.

No, and don't try-- she needs an examination before they can administer it to you-- it is a medicine that alters her physically--if you care about her, you would WANT her to be safe and get it legally so she doesn't get sick....tell her you'll go to the clinic with her.....and by the way, in case she doesn't know it, they cannot let anyone know she was there....not her parents....no one.

No, love. But she can make an appointment at Planned Parenthood if she is 13 or older. They are very non-judgemental. You can pick up free condoms there if she won't go. Google them, and give them a call.

Yes, you can, it's called condoms! If she doesn't want to go to a clinic or doctor, then the only other options are condoms or DON'T have sex.
