For me, it would have to be doctors and disease. I never knew a human could be so cruel to another human in dire need. They would talk down to me and still try to, but I have educated myself and they can no longer do that. And I have a PPO. ;^)
Not all docs, just most.

OK, so I thought innocence would be discussed in a different context. I'm not quite sure what the context is here, but I will say racism took mine away, if innocence involves being happy-go-lucky, and having faith in people by default.
By now my experiences make me cautiously aware of every person I meet, and by default people can tell that I'm a broken person inside, and it terrifies everybody.

I listened to some of their song and the lyrics really just caught me by suprise and I realized that something that was happening to me was wrong and needed to be stopped...so in a way it also kinda saved my life.

surprisingly the things they teach you in schools so you can STAY innocent. like information about drugs and stuff. half the "street names" for marijuana, i learned in school. heh..imagine that.!
